The premier bluegrass festival in the Northeastern United States, and one of the oldest such festivals in the entire world. Held annually on Labor Day Weekend since 1972, it is sponsored by the non-profit Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music.
The Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival is a multi-day, outdoor event. Except in extreme cases of disaster or other emergency, it is held all three days, RAIN OR SHINE, and all performances will take place as scheduled, regardless of weather. No refunds of full or partial ticket prices will be granted after the festival gates open at 8:00 am, Wednesday, August 28, 2013 except in extreme or unusual circumstances. The Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music, sponsors of the festival, reserve the sole right to determine what these circumstances are and when they are in effect. The Brandywine Friends also reserve the right to alter the performance schedule as circumstances dictate. Notice of changes will be given if at all possible, but in some cases there may be little or no opportunity for prior notification.
