oin architect Lance O'Donnell for a presentation and personal tour of four new homes designed by his firm o2 Architecture. Parlaying the strengths of the site, designing for sustainability and authenticity of materials are hallmarks of the four new Desert Modern homes. Lance will conduct the tour and discuss how the homes are designed for the hot summers and cool winters. The presentation and tour will explore how modern, sustainable homes with different site conditions and client needs share similar relationships to the eternal desert sunshine, seamless indoor/outdoor living and mountain views of Palm Springs. A wine reception will follow at the last house.

Lance O'Donnell, AIA, principal of o2 Architecture, is simultaneously a modern master as well as an ambassador of midcentury modern architectural ideals. O'Donnell is a fourth generation Coachella Valley native, a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and holds a Master of Architecture from UCLA. Lance collaborated with Palm Springs' iconic architect, Donald Wexler on numerous projects and they were close friends.
